I'm a self taught artist who always finds something wrong with her art. I love learning from my mistakes in order to improve my artistic abilities. I'm an Art History major and love exploring the motives that lead different artists and cultures to create art. What's your reason?

My activeness her on DA over the past year and a half have included following the people I watch, faving things that I find amazing and answering questions for people that ask.
For any of you who care, you may have noticed that there has not been a lot of uploading art.
Sadly, this is because school just sucks. Between going to class, reading for class, working 18ish hours a week and SLEEPING (thank God I get that), there is little time for drawing. The drawing I do is sketching in classes where I'm falling asleep and the reproductions I have to make for my art history classes.

So my goal for this summer was to work more on my art and improve when it comes to anatomy and proportions. I went through this really bad "I can't draw anything" art funk. I kind of partially blame my grandma for some insensitive comments she made but it's also just me fighting myself. James has been trying to help me with anatomy but it's been slow coming. I don't feel like I've accomplished enough to say that my summer goal was met.

1. I don't believe in chain mail, therefore I will not be tagging anyone. I've never died after not sending a message along no matter how many of them told me I would.
2. I was a cheerleader and a band geek at the same time and it was awesome.
